MMXII is the toolmaker for analogue photography. Tools for Film, its first product, is a darkroom app built for people who actually shoot and develop film. It models the real workflow — mixed chemistry as a tracked batch, rolls as working inventory, processing as a guided run with an agitation timer that manages each stage — and archives the result so nothing disappears into a camera roll. Its Insights view turns that archive into a feedback loop across stocks, developers, and dilutions. The name is the year it began: MMXII, 2012. Physical tools, apparel, and editorial follow the app.
The mark.
The MMXII skull is the primary mark. Use it on dark grounds wherever possible, and don't recolour, rotate, or stretch it. The wordmark is set in a serif with wide letter-spacing; where you can't reproduce that, plain "MMXII" in a serif face is fine.
